Birthday fun.

Saturday was my 24th birthday, and I was so happy to be able to celebrate it at home! I hadn't been home for my birthday since I turned 21... 22 was in Italy and 23 was in Decatur last year. I try not to think of last year's birthday because we moved all morning and then Nick had to go to work for the rest of the day. It was no bueno. Thankfully, Saturday was nothing like last year's. The weather was beautiful (keeping consistent with the rest of our time here so far), I had a delicious breakfast made for me, I got to spend some quality time with my grandma, took a little trip to the Saturday Market, and went out for tapas and sangria at Andaluz in downtown Salem. It was all pretty low-key, but all-in-all a great birthday. I'm always a little bummed when my birthday is over, but I am happy knowing that I will get to celebrate and party some more in about 5 weeks when Nick and I get married! That's the real present this year: getting married to my best friend in front of all my favorite people :)
