Chambray & lace.

Birthday outfit #1:

These shorts came in last month and I thought one thing: "NEED". It's true, some things are a need. I love pretty much anything that's lacy or has a lace pattern on it, and since my shorts collection hasn't been very substantial until this recently (we have a TON of cute styles in right now!), I thought they'd be the perfect addition. Obviously, white goes with everything, but the pattern and fabric lends itself to being dressed up with a nice top and heels, or just as easily dressed down (yet still very put-together and sophisticated) with a simple chambray top and sandals. Flower statement necklace and peonies optional, of course.
