Fall-inspired eyes.

In honor of the first official day, I'm posting a Fall-color-inspired eye makeup look!

First, I prepped my eyelids with an eyelid primer. If you don't have one, your regular concealer will work the same way.
I then used a fluffy brush (mine is a MAC brush... seriously the best one!) to shade the crease of my eyes with a sparkly green olive color. All of my colors are from a special edition palette I bought a few years ago, but this one called "Sumptuous Olive" is very similar. You want to buff it in to the crease in a sort of windshield wiper motion back and forth as you go along the crease.
Next, take a tawny gold shadow and use a flat brush to pat it on to your eyelid. Mine is one of my favorite MAC colors, and they always carry it! It's called "Woodwinked" and it's a gold that looks good with any skin-tone. Just so you fellow blue- and blue-gray-eyed ladies know, gold will bring out the blue!
Take your same fluffy brush and go back over your crease, blending the two together.
Next you can take either a flat brush or your fluffy brush and blend a dark, almost reddish brown, into just the outer corner of your eyes. Don't forget to blend it with the rest of the colors, though! My color is "Embark". This color is also a standard MAC color, and is a good color to have in your makeup drawer along with "Woodwinked". They are basics that you can use a lot!

After your lids are blended, line eyes with a deep brown eyeliner. Mine is from Mary Kay. This specific eyeliner is soft and easy to blend or smudge, and you never have to sharpen it either!
I finished off my eyes with two coats of the plumping wand of MAC's "Haute and Naughty Lash", a great 2-in-1 mascara, with two different wands: one for lengthening lashes and one for volumizing lashes!

I hope you like the look, now go forth and play with some makeup today! :)
