Everything nice.: Hot [pink] Pants.

Yes, my friends, today was the day I bought something über trendy: colored denim.

And not just any color. No.

These are hot pink.

Now, I'm not a super trendy gal. I'd like to think my personal style is classic and chic... but I do like to add an edge in there. Sometimes (who am I kidding, most of the time) it's super hot 5" stilettos or any other great shoe. Or it's just a really sexy, flirty dress that's still classy at the same time. But for the most part, I stick to things that are going to last me.. like a great pair of skinnies I'll wear forever, a trench coat, lots and lots of great jackets, and feminine blouses and tops.

However, I love clothes and fashion and am always up for something new. These hot pink pants are part of the new collection at The Limited that debuted just yesterday, March 12th. I have been eyeing them (and everything else in the collection because it's BEAUTIFUL) since I saw them in the back room a few weeks ago, patiently waiting to be put out for sale. I've been interested in trying colored denim for awhile, but never took the plunge. But, since I can wear these to work and they are pink and I was already buying a jacket and could get the pants for free because of it, I decided to go for it. And I'm so glad I did!

Of course, as soon as I got home, I played dress-up. I'm excited to wear these to work tomorrow night, but I'm also way excited to have them for this spring! The bright pop they have goes great with sunny weather, and they're just something fun and different. As a girl who loves her neutrals, these pants are going to help me add a little excitement.

I was so excited about these new pants and the lovely, warm day we're having here in Decatur, that I decided to put together a little outfit I plan on wearing on the weekends when it's nice and sunny. This photoshoot ensued:
