Wedding Update: Flowers, flowers, flowers.

Monday, Nick, my mom, and I headed out to Independence, OR to meet with our florist, Mary, owner of Buena Vista Flowers. My mom found out about her by visiting her booth at the Saturday market, and learned that she did weddings from a co-worker. Her flowers are absolutely beautiful and the prices are unbeatable. Seriously, some beautiful, large bouquets are only $12. No kidding. She has over 100 varieties of flowers on her property, and it was so fun talking about what we want for our bouquets and centerpieces. I'm not a flower expert, of course, and I know I want roses and hydrangea and lots of pinks, but I'm totally trusting of what she will come up with. She had great suggestions for other flowers to put in everything based on my desires, and we walked around and she introduced some other varieties to me. Some of the flowers aren't quite in bloom, but I'm not worried - I know they will all be beautiful and fresh and perfect for our wedding!
