Trust me, I already know what you're thinking.... I look totes awk in that first picture, hahaha. I guess I didnt know what to do with my hands??? You'd think that my time in a sorority would help with my posing, but it's a lot weirder when you are the only one posing instead of with a group of people posing for a picture. By yourself, it feels kinda silly.

That being said, I love this look because it goes with the warmer weather we've been having here as well as the coming of Spring! It kinda looks like Easter threw up on me, but I like it. I wore this dress to work yesterday, but had to wear a black cardi because unless it's something from The Limited, it can't be anything but black or white (I could have gone without a cardi, too, but would have froze my butt off in the store - it's cold in ther e). But, since I bought this dress, I kept thinking of how fun it would be to pair it with this lovely, watercolor-esque, hand printed floral cardi from J. Crew I bought over Christmas break and am in love with. It is soooo pretty! I've gotta say, I love the color overload - with the black cardigan it was definitely a little more "business-y", but who says you can't wear a lot of color to the office? I say, you can! The dress and cardigan combo is still conservative, but with a pop, and it's definitely not boring! Plus, wearing color head-to-toe is what's happenin' right now, so I dare you to be bold and wear lots and lots of color! Especially those, like me, who gravitate towards wearing neutrals 95% of the time. Do something different for a change!

Yes, Nick will be home in 2 days. And yes, I am excited beyond belief!
